Certain Affinity Selected as Official Texas Polling Location

September 24, 2020

Today we’re excited to reveal that our Austin-based headquarters has been selected as an official Polling Location for the 2020 U.S. General Election, including all state and local elections. We are excited to support the community and provide a comfortable and safe place for people to vote, and we appreciate Travis county for working with us to ensure that we met all federal and state guidelines.

2020 has been full of changes, and while our office is underutilized due to our continued working from home, the core values of our company have not wavered. Two of those pillars in particular — “Be Kind and Considerate” and “Continuously Evolve” — inspired us to take this step for the benefit of our team and the community that sustains us.

Here are a few important dates to remember about Texas elections:

  • October 5th: The last day to register in Texas for the 2020 Election. Check your voting status here: https://www.votetexas.gov/
  • October 13th: Early voting begins in Texas. For clarification, we will not be an early voting location, as there are already sufficient facilities.
  • November 3rd: Election Day. This is when our polling location will be open from 7AM to 7PM, and all those in line by 7PM will be allowed to vote.

We’re joining around 200 other Polling Locations across the city of Austin, so make sure to select one that’s convenient for you, and also pay attention to the wait times via the County Clerk’s office. Unfortunately this is not an opportunity to ask for a tour of our Austin HQ, since the majority of our studio will be closed to visitors other than the polling location. Please do not show up expecting more than a polling location for the general election.

Please make sure that you’re registered to vote, and thank you to Travis County for allowing us to help out with the 2020 Election!
