Certain Affinity is looking for a highly driven recruiter to help build out our fast-growing game studio. The studio talent acquisition mission is critical to the company’s long-term growth. The recruiter will be a part of the HR team reporting to the Sr HR Manager and work closely with leadership and department leads to develop and land top talent across all disciplines. You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced and fast-changing work environment.

You will possess strong project management skills, be results oriented and customer focused. Building, fostering and maintaining business and industry relationships is key. Deep gaming knowledge and understanding of the games community is a strong plus.


    • Work with hiring managers and key stakeholders in defining critical hiring needs
    • Understand department requirements of a role and how it fits into the organization
    • Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation, events and pipelining efforts
    • Support and lead candidate sourcing and identification efforts
    • Craft custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement
    • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit
    • Work with teams to engage business leaders early in the recruiting cycle
    • Research and gather market intelligence, trends and insights
    • Track candidate activity and communication with internal stakeholders
    • Assist with university relations efforts to help build talent pipelines and referrals


    • Passion for gaming, game development and/or experience working within the games industry
    • Solid experience with ATS systems and process
    • Clear and effective written and verbal communications skills
    • Strong focus on customer service and cultivating relationships
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
    • Team player who can also be resourceful self-starter with ability to prioritize effectively
    • Demonstrate ability to deliver a balance of quality as well as quantity candidates and hires
    • Ability to keep confidentiality and care with sensitive information
    • Comfort being in front of large groups of people for recruiting events and speaking at events
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail: calendaring, google docs
    • In-depth understanding of high-tech and software development industry
    • 6+ years professional recruiting & sourcing experience
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, HR, or related field
