Game Developer magazine is holding its second annual Top 50 Developers countdown. Statistics like sales charts, number of games released and average game rating are taken into consideration in rating game developers. Also taken into consideration is their online survey where you can vote for your favorite game developers. Here at Certain Affinity we think we are awesome at our jobs; we also think that you should vote for us. Voting ends Friday, April 24, 2009.

We’re Famous in San Francisco
Wednesday, April 8th, 2009On Wednesday, March 25, our very own Max Hoberman gave a speech to a packed house at GDC San Francisco. His speech, titled “From Bungie to Bootstrapping – Starting an Independent Developer,” centered on the trials and tribulations of forming a successful start up company and the lessons that he learned along the way. Max addressed the myths that many independent developers sometimes fall for and gave insight to how Certain Affinity continues to thrive in the current economic times. Video of his speech should be available shortly.
